Santa Clara University’s Sobrato Campus for Discovery and Innovation is one of Colin Gordon Associates’ vibration and acoustical consulting projects with ZGF Architects. It was awarded the 2021 Structures Award for Best Education Project. The first day of classes, September 20, 2021, was the opening day for the Sobrato Campus with a 1,446 classroom, and teaching and research lab, seat capacity. STEM enrollment for undergraduates has increased 85% over the last ten years, gathering students studying fields of sustainability and environmental science, neuroscience, and bioengineering.
