Concrete Damping

At long last, Hal Amick has completed the second of his two journal papers on the damping properties of concrete which document his research at Berkeley.  The first was published in the May 2006 issue of Materials Journal of the American Concrete Institute and dealt with the damping properties of plain concrete.  The second paper deals with enhancement of damping using polymer additives, and is in peer review at the same journal.  Several minor publications have dealt with specific aspects of this topic.
